WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Photography can become a powerful means of exploring our inner worlds, reconnecting with memories, and discovering new ways of expressing personal experiences. But what happens when we move beyond simply recording what we see and begin to explore what we feel, remember, imagine, or dream?

THE INNER IMAGE is a workshop I have developed to explore the connection between self-discovery and artistic expression.

Having lived between different countries, cultures, and languages, I have always been interested in finding ways to communicate beyond words. Throughout my artistic journey, I have gradually developed my own visual language, drawing on memories, dreams, symbols, metaphors, and the use of color as a psychological tool. My multidisciplinary artistic background has also inspired me to explore the connections between different forms of creative expression.

Drawing on this personal and artistic experience, I invite participants to discover their own sources of inspiration and transform them into meaningful artistic work. Through guided exercises, visual references, individual projects, and group discussions, we will explore how our identities, emotions, memories, dreams, and life experiences can inspire new forms of creative expression.

While photography remains at the heart of the workshop, I encourage participants to experiment across disciplines, combining photographic images with drawing, painting, writing, poetry, collage, personal archives, and other creative approaches.

The workshop also offers space to explore emotionally challenging subjects, including loss, displacement, personal conflicts, or traumatic memories, and how these experiences might find expression through artistic creation.

Throughout our three sessions, participants will engage in creative assignments and be encouraged to initiate a personal project or further develop an existing one, receiving individual guidance and constructive feedback along the way.

With a maximum of seven participants, I aim to create an intimate and supportive environment for creative experimentation, meaningful dialogue, and individual attention.

At its heart, THE INNER IMAGE is about discovering the creative possibilities hidden within our personal experiences—and finding new ways to give them artistic form.
